Guichet de l’Inclusion scolaire

The Guichet de l’Inclusion scolaire provides information, advice and raises awareness on support for special educational needs – for parents, pupils and professionals. With a team available online, in the field and by appointment, it offers a decentralised point of contact across Luxembourg. The Guichet provided us with the following description.

The Guichet de l’Inclusion scolaire (Inclusive Education Helpdesk) is a service provided by the National Service for Inclusive Education (SNEI).

Its mission is to provide information, advice and raise awareness amongst parents, pupils and professionals regarding the support available for pupils with special educational needs.

The Guichet does not carry out case assessments or diagnoses, nor does it replace professionals working in the field. It provides a centralised point of contact that directs users to the relevant services.

To ensure maximum accessibility, the Guichet adopts a multi-channel approach:

  • The online Guichet serves as a central hub for information and procedures relating to inclusive education, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • The mobile Guichet reaches out to the public across the country. It takes part in events, visits schools and offers tailored activities.
  • The decentralised Guichet offers the opportunity for a personalised discussion by appointment, close to where you live.
