Since 1996, parents and now also many employees have been campaigning to create a care framework that promotes the autonomy of autistic children, adolescents and adults as well as their rights.

School domain
FAL also provided support in schools. Since the founding of the CTSA (Centre pour enfants et jeunes présentant un trouble du spectre de l’autisme), the competence centre alone has been responsible for accompanying children and young people to school.
