To learn more about autism, there is the option of attending further training courses. We introduce well-known providers (IFEN, FAL, CTSA, ZEFI). You can or will find more information about the organisations in the “Contact points” category. If you know of any other providers or offer continuous training yourself, please let us know.
Target persons
The continuous training courses at IFEN, for “Institut de Formation de l’Education Nationale” (National Education’s Training Institute), are aimed at teachers, trainees, pedagogical and psychosocial staff, trainers, management and coordinating staff, placement coordinators, didactic advisors and pedagogical counsellors.

In the IFEN catalogue you can enter the keywords “autisme”, “autism” or “autism”. I recommend trying out the different spellings, as different results are displayed in each case (sometimes 3, sometimes 22, sometimes 26).

(Co)-organisers
The training courses are often organised or co-organised by the CTSA (Centre pour enfants et jeunes présentant un trouble du spectre de l’autisme), sometimes by the FAL (Fondation Autisme Luxembourg), sometimes by teachers and once also by the ATVA.
Availability
I find it interesting that they indicate whether training courses are available or not. Out of 26 results, when I enter “autism”, 9 are currently not available, 1 cancelled, 2 with closed registration period, 3 with waiting list, 5 with currently available places and 6 available soon (registration will be possible soon).
For me personally, this currently shows that their repertoire is very extensive. It also seems to be in demand and partly unavailable. More information and experience reports will follow.
