Dalza

After meeting the founders of Dalza and learning about their platform, we decided to feature the service on our website because we are convinced that it can be useful for improving the educational journey of autistic persons.
The below article is provided by the Dalza team and HASILUX is not affiliated with Dalza.

What is Dalza?

Dalza is an award-winning platform designed to transform the support of children with learning and thinking differences, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia and many other challenges. Dalza simplifies collaboration and support for children and helps parents lead their child’s support with greater ease and clarity.

Dalza is available through both the website and Android or Apple app and is accessible using any kind of device. The platform ensures:

  • Centralised information: a child’s records and progress notes are stored in one place and are accessible at any time.
  • Control: parents can manage who has access to their child’s information and how they use Dalza.
  • Communication: all updates and progress can be seen in real-time, including sending and receiving feedback and chats. The parent and the child’s entire support team will never miss an important development.
  • Collaboration: parents can work directly with teachers, other professionals and anyone else supporting the child.
  • Continuity: smooth transitions between team members and professionals to maintain a consistent approach to the child’s care.

Who can use Dalza?

Dalza can be used by everybody involved in supporting the child. The parent owns and controls their child’s space on Dalza and authorises and invites members of the support team to access their child’s space. Team members could include:

  • Other family members
  • Teachers & other educational staff members
  • Therapists, psychologists, doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Other caregivers

As well as supporting children with autism and other learning and thinking differences, Dalza also supports children with other illnesses, disabilities or challenges. This could be a physical illness or struggles with mental health.

At Dalza, we recognise that every child, regardless of their challenges, deserves to have the personalised support they need.

How does Dalza make a difference?

Dalza allows every member of a child’s support team – parents, teachers, therapists and other professionals and caregivers – to achieve the following, together:

  • Collaborate seamlessly
  • Access and share key information digitally
  • Monitor progress and provide support
  • Communicate directly
  • Engage in a neuro-positive, inclusive community

With Dalza, all the child’s information, learning journey and support needs are updated, on hand, and managed in one place.

Dalza is designed to lighten the load, not add to it, removing the stress and burden associated with care and administration so families can have peace of mind and focus on family well-being.
