This organisation has been supporting autistic children and their parents since 1981. Initially, they were mainly active in the field of education. They quickly developed support and meeting programmes as well as workshops. They provide counselling, guidance, training for professionals and support in everyday life. The organisation employs educators, psychologists, a sophrologist, occupational therapists, orthophonists and nurses, among others.
Offers
- Living: Foyer Hollerich, Foyer Boxhorn, Centre de jour, Al Schoul
- Day centre (CDJ): Daily structure in which a varied programme is offered for the well-being and stimulation of the senses of autistic people. Target group: autistic people who do not (or no longer) work as disabled employees in the workshops. Programme: relaxation, walks, basal stimulation, Airtramp, excursions, singing, music, games, care and health. Various therapies such as physiotherapy, psychological counselling, occupational therapy and music therapy can be used via care insurance.
- Workshops for vocational inclusion: laundry, ceramics, confectionery, sewing, cooking, gardening, paper, printing, info-media, laser-tech, back office
- Vocational training service (SFP): For autistic people who have finished school and want to prepare for entering the labour market. Theoretical and practical vocational training tailored to the needs and skills of the beneficiaries. The aim is to enable them to be transferred to a workshop for vocational integration/inclusion, to the regular labour market or to a day activity department. Up to 20 students can currently be accepted. Training period: 1-3 years, depending on individual goals and plans. The service carries out a skills assessment, draws up an individual training programme and provides specialist support.
